6k, Newport, RI

I was absolutely not repelled by heavy rain. My six km walk was so successful that I even got a chance to dry off.

23k run around Newport's coast, RI

Exhausted after my 23k run around Newport's coastline. It was worth every step. Amazing views, ocean breeze, and perfect weather.

10k, Cliff Run, Newport, Rhode Island

Running the Cliff Walk was amazing. Much of the walk is just rocks that make the run risky and difficult. Better run the distance on a low tide.

7k, Argonne, IL

great run!

7k, Argonne, IL.

I was running my regular trail when all of the sudden a red-tail hawk plunges into weeds by the roadside, picks up a snake, and flies away. Cool!

5k, 04072013, Seattle, Washington

Semi 5k run/walk. My QL is still hurting, but much better. Seattle is a nice city. I noticed that people here don't cross the street on red light even if there are no cars, it rains most of the time, and beer is expensive.

5K/DAY

I have been running 5k/day for the past six weeks. I have run through snow storms, thunderstorms, winds, sub-zero temperatures, around where I live, in parks, forest preserves, and whenever I ended up, before sunset, after sunset, at midnights, etc. I tried to manage my time in a way that I do not miss any runs. So far it has been a great experience, both physical and mental. Today, I have totaled 200km with absolutely no injury. I will dedicate this blog to continue my running commitment, share my experience, trails, tips, photos, etc. The summary of my previous runs can be found under "Running Log" tab. I hope you will enjoy it!
